Since 2013

ISKCON Jorhat Centre warmly welcomes you.

ISKCON belongs directly to the Brahma-Madhva-Gaudiya Sampradaya. Commonly known as the Hare Krishna movement, ISKCON is rooted in the 15th-century Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition and propagates bhakti-yoga principles as revealed in Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam.

ISKCON Jorhat has been continuously dedicated to the mission of Srila Prabhupada to spread Krishna Consciousness in and around Jorhat since 2013. In the beginning, our centre started in a small room at Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev Kalakristi Gavesona Kendra, opposite Circuit House Jorhat, KB Road, where a few devotees regularly gathered for kirtan and spiritual discussions.

Later, we established our centre at Lichubari, which has now become a spiritual gathering place for devotees and seekers in Jorhat. Every Sunday, we organize special programs with soulful Hare Krishna kirtan, Bhagavad-gita discourses, youth classes, and free prasadam distribution.
